Hi,

Febrile seizures are provoked by high-grade fever and usually are generalized. While you also mentioned focal seizure that means a particular group of muscles only have uncontrolled activity.

Febrile convulsions are managed by rectal Diazepam for muscle spasms and tepid sponging to reduce body temperature. Prevented by treating a fever with Paracetamol. This usually limited up to the childhood.

If seizures are there without fever then regular anticonvulsants should be started after physician consultation. The treatment usually has a longer course if patients are not compliant with medicines.

CT/ MRI and EEG will be required to find out the cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
