Hello sir,My wife was diagnosed of typhoid via widal test for typhoid after suffering for 7 days of fever.The doctor gave her cefixime 200 for 14 days and other medicines but she did not respond to them as fever continued to persist. Urine culture was sterile.It s now more than 25 days of continuous fever of approximately 99-101 combined with abdominal pain ,throat pain blurry vision (not always)and somewhat severe headaches. Pls. Guide what this aliment could be and if it is thyphoid then why isn t it curing.
