How Can Fever Along With Body Ache And Headache Be Treated?

I started haveing fever, cold sweats, body aches, headache, shivering so much that my body hurts. They did Flu Swab and chest xray but everything was negative. I am going on day 3 with these symptoms happening just about every 4-6 hours. What more can I do to help myself through all the pain n anxiety, and fever.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.


Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fever along with body ache and headache which seems to be due to viral infection and could be due to compromised immunity of your body.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist once without any delay. Doctor may prescribe antiviral acyclovir and if it is a infection then antibacterial penicillin along with anti inflammatory medications.Doctor may order blood test to confirm diagnosis. You should take proper rest. You should take muscle relaxants if fever is of high grade.
