How Can Fever Along With Persistent Cough Be Treated?
I m having symptoms of To flu or allergies for 5 days. Fever101° for one day and fills with persistent cough. I seem to get this more often as I got older. How do I prevent this. I ve not seen a Dr this time around. Taking cold and flu liquid bed rest.

As flu is a viral disease so it gets subsides on its own no antibiotic is effective on it only what we can do is, try to avoid the allergens and exposure to cold. And along with that, we need to take the symptomatic treatment which includes some antipyretics, antiallergics and some decongestants. As you asked, it's prevention the best method is to get the vaccine that is known as the flu shot, which you need to take every year around the month of August to September.
