How Can Fever An Joint Pains Due To Viral Infection Be Treated?

Hello my niece has been feeling sick for two weeks or more weeks her symptoms are: high fever, hives, muscle pains in her joints. My sister took to the hospital and then to her private Dr. and all she was given was naproxen and then she was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick NJ and each Dr. that saw her said that is a viral infection what should we do next for her she is supposed to return back to work tomorrow but she can t even walk good on her own.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen three times a day. I also suggest to rest and drink liquids. The symptoms will go on its own in a few days.
