How Can Fever And Along With Profuse Sweating Be Managed?
I have been having fever for the past 4 days. Been taking paracetamol 2 tab every 4 hrs. On 3 occasions ,I took diclofenac after paracetamol. After taking panadol with diclofenac, I will have profuse sweating. But not if I were to take panadol alone. On day 2, I have one episode of gum bleed. On day 4, visited a dr, told me I had pustular tonsillitis. Started taking Augmentin 3 doses already. Only taking 2 panadol on day 5 so far. I’m very worried. Can’t sleep now thinking about this. Will be going to see Dr tomorrow to check if I overdosed.
Pustular tonsillitis is a severe infection of the tonsils. These are usually associated with high grade fever with chills followed by sweating as the fever comes down.
Make sure you keep a 6 hour interval in between doses of Paracetamol or Diclofenac drug. Complete your antibiotic therapy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
