General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Generally, in a 3-year-old child, there will be a loss of appetite to a certain extent while they have a fever.

Kindly continue with the medications as prescribed by your doctor. Kindly feed the child with soft and easily digestible diet. Feed small quantities at more frequent intervals. Also, give the child good quality of water. Gradually, the child should regain appetite as the fever subsides, over a period of time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
