How Can Fever And Cold Be Treated?

My daughter had a fever yesterday morning that went away with Motrin. It came back in the afternoon, so we gave her another dose of Motrin. She was fever free (without meds) for 24 hours. Her fever is back now and she’s had a runny nose all day. Other than that, she’s eating and drinking and playing like normal. Not complaining at all. Is this the flu or just a bug?
