General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is a safe procedure. Only chronic infections persisting for more than 3 months impact growth of a baby. So just relax.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi
