How Can Fever And Nasal Congestion In An Infant Be Treated?

My baby is 8.5 months old (weight 9.1 kg). He was having fever, blocked nose and cold. Doctor advised Welminic 5ml, 6 hourly once. Already given two times and fever is reduced. But just checked online the dose for this medicine, and 5ml seems overdose. Can you please advise what is the correct dose for my baby?

Hi. I'm Dr Neel Kudchadkar and I'll help you. You need to understand that all online sources are not accurate. First the source has not taken the weight of your bay in consideration and there is not probably a weight chart. You cannot trust this information and I suggest that since you have been to and paid the fees of your doctor, you put more faith on him and her. You know, what one website says will differ from another and we cannot keep changing our doses like that. Continue with welminic, and things will be fine. Send an email to healthcaremagic to contact me at ATTN: Dr Neel Kudchadkar for more advice. Thanks.
