My 9 year old daughter just had tonsils and adenoids removed on Friday 10/27/17 the next night we rushed her to Er with a fever of 103.3 they did xrays blood work everything said it was she was dehydrated we had to rush her back this morning for same temperature they said its pneumonia due to complication of surgery, her fever is still staying around 101 even with tylenl doctors told us no ibuprofen because it could make her bleed is there anything else we can do to help keep her temperature down?
it can be post operative problem can get checked by ent doctor. if required throat swab can be taken for culture and sensitivity. most effective antibiotic recomanded in culture report cabe given. control fever with tab crocin or syrup crocin consult pulmonologist clinical examination of lung fields. ifbronchospasmthen bronchodylcan be taken keep under observation for signs and symptoms. maintain hydration.
