How Can Fever In An Infant Be Treated?

My baby is 1 year old now,doctor suggested to give a meftal p syrup for my baby having fever of 102 degree,but I gave her meftal spas syrup(3ml),is there any problem by giving this instead of meftal p,n can I gave nw a dolopar125 syrup,because my babies temp is not decreasing,please answer me

Hello there. I have read through your question and would like to tell you that meftal spas contain s Dicyclomine which is used in abdominal colic pain. It won't help to reduce temperature. You should give him Dolopar 125 syrup which contains Paracetamol. It has to be given thrice in a day and the dose depends on your child's weight. You can consult that with your paediatrician.
