How Can Fever In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi My 10 month old son is having fever from afternoon. earlier it was 99-101 and we gave calpol to him first 2,5 ml and then after 6 hrs 5 ml. But fever is not coming down. Can we give him Imol (after 6hrs of giving calpol). No out of hours GP available now.

Here are some methods to try:
Place a cool, damp washcloth on your child's forehead while baby rests.
Give your child a lukewarm tub bath or a sponge bath. .
Keep him hydrated. It's important that baby keeps taking breast milk or formula during a fever to avoid dehydration
