How Can Fever In An Infant Be Treated?

About 15 month old has a fever for about 3 days she still has a fever after we were at the hospital 3 days ago and I ve given her Motrin and it s still it s fine it ll be fine after the medicine given and when it s about 4 hours later she s back running a fever again

Most young children develop a fever because of various reasons. Most doctors and pediatricians suggest warm water sponging to help reduce the fever. This can help to bring down the fever.

Along with this, taking anti-fever medication as suggestion by the child's pedatrician would be a good idea as well.

It would be a good idea to watch out for seizures as well and to get the child checked out in case any seizure or fainting episode is seen. This is known as a febrile seizure and can be dangerous for the baby.
