How Can Fever, Lethargy And Vomiting Of A 4-year-old Child Be Treated?

My four year old son woke up with a 100F fever this morning and has been lethargic or sleeping all day. He ate at Lunch time then napped, then vomited a lot but just once and then wouldn t eat or drink. His temperature was higher at 5pm 101.2F. How shall I care for him, and when shall I call the doctor?

Hello,

You can give him paracetamol according to the body weight for fever.

If fever persists better to consult a pediatrician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
