How Can Fever Of Unknown Origin In A Child Be Treated?

Hi, My daughter is 3.5years old and having 11kg weight She is suffering from unknown fever since last week, all reports are normal (CBC, urine, MP, typhoid). First 4 day dr have amoxi+clave Now Dr gave cefixime 100mg/5ml dose 3 ml twice in da since last two days.. Still fever is continue...what shall v do?

hello, sometimes the test results are false negative,but in case of your daughter chest x-ray should also be prescribed to rule out lower respiratory tract diseases.sometimes it does happen that the patient symptoms are vague that it is difficult to rule out the cause in such cases all base line investigations should be carried out and chest xray is also one of the base line investigation.
