How Can Flu Along With Dizziness And Nausea Be Treated?

I ve had what seems to be a flu, I was sick twice 12 hours ago and have been resting since, taking paracetamol every 4 hours. This has been accompanied by sweating and feeling very hot. I have been trying to sleep for the past 5 hours yet I ve been constantly having cold shivers that leave me dizzy and nauseous. About an hour ago I had a series of three quick nightmares all within 30 minutes. Each of them had a recurring theme, they all started in my bed and I could hardly speak atall. Any help is appreciated, what do I have and what can I do.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You can have bacterial infection secondary to influenza infection. I suggest you to investigate first with simply CBC and peripheral smear examination. Your Auscultation also should be done. Decongestant should be given for symptomatic relief. If CBC shows bacterial blood picture then antibiotic course will be prescribed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
