How Can Food Poisoning And Headache Be Treated?

I came from Mexico stayed there for two week, came back recently. Next day, I have been having diarrhea, vomiting nothing staying in stomach, pain in head, pain on my upper stomach cannot tolerate. Should I see a PCP or go to the ER because I work close by. What would you recommend.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

As per your history and experience, you seem to feel food poisoning. As you know food poisoning does not need any medication except the proper water intake (rehydration) and symptomatic relief.

You need to take plenty of fluids and paracetamol for head ache. Because in food poisoning dehydration causes generalized body aches and head ache. If you think there is less water absorbed by your body you can visit an emergency room for IV fluids.

Otherwise take water with ORS and your food poisoning will be over in next 24 hours.
