How Can Food Poisoning Be Treated?

Hi, 5 days ago I went for brunch and i felt nauseous immediately after eating. The night before i had dinner at a restaurant with my parents. My symptoms where nausea and i had a bit of diarhea. The next 3 days i had the worst nausea that started mostly in the morning and ended around 1pm. I only gain back my appetite on the evening of day 3, and now on day 5 My appetite is back to normal and the nausea is gone. Two days ago I noticed that my heart is beating faster than usual and i have a pressure pain on the left side of my chest/a little above it. Should i go to the hospital? I m full of anxiety about my health. It is all I keep thinking about. Please help. Thank you, Sandra

Hi Sandra, you have recovered from food poisoning. The pressure pain and palpitations you experienced are probably due to gas.
Take a liquid ant acid with simethicone 2tsf three times a day. If you do not feel better in a day--see your doctor--regards
