How Can Foot Deformation Be Treated?

I have had the phalges bones in my right big toes & the toes next to it removed due to osteomyelitis. Now my foot is deformed & does not function well. I use to lead a very active lifestyle. Depression aside, what are my hopes for reconstruction to look & feel normal again. Is there any further surgery which can be done to replace the dead bones that were removed or should I just settle for what I/ve got?

Hi,

Don't worry about that they only removed infected part.

Reconstruction surgeries are available like peroneal flaps, scapular flaps etc.

You may consult your cosmetologist/plastic surgeon, they will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
