How Can Foot Sprain Be Treated?

I have pulled ligaments on my right foot, it s on the right side of the foot just below my ankle, and a little to the right. What are some home remedies I can do? My doctor told me to dip my foot in warm/hot water with salt, but how long and I supposed to dip it for?

Hi,

Yes, you can dip it in salted warm water for a little time like few minutes. Besides you can also use ice-packing. You can use ibuprofen for pain. Give it some rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
