How Can Frequent Bowel Movement Be Treated?

I feel like I have to have bowlmovement too often have a sick to my stomach feeling. I do go but now too often. Not diarrhea not constipation. What over the counter can I take. I now have h3morrhoids never had them in my life. Painful. I bought preperation h with lidocaine but what can I take to stop my trips to the bathroom. Mylanta or mirolax?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Hemorrhoids are out come of constipation... straining for motion.There fore treatment of hemorrhoids consists of majors to have normal motion without straining & healing of the lesion of hemorrhoids. Smooth motions have high fiber containing diet & ample of water intake.

*Use of stool softener like cremaffine /liquid paraffin daily at bed time or twice a day after food, depending on your bowel habits. Till your diet starts showing effect.
*Healing of hemorrhoids. Use of glycerine suppository to soothe stools. CVP capsules over the counter to reduce bleeding.
*Consultation of an anorectal surgeon in case of no relief for expert advise/treatment of intestinal infection,infestation if any/surgical treatment as per need.
