Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can Frequent Urination During Night Be Treated?
im a 53 yo man that has problems in urination. at night im up multiple time and not so much during the day. it seems im going about a quarter of the amount i should and feel full when i go. doesnt burn or hurt. when i wake i feel a little uncomfortable pressure.
After going through your query I understand your concern.
I would like to tell you that drinking too much water during evening can cause you to urinate often during night. Other causes can be drinking alcohol, caffeine or other liquids before bedtime can result in frequent urination during night.
If above factors are not there in your case then it can be because of Diabetes / prostate enlargement. It's recommended for you to get a HBA1C for diabetes and an Ultrasound for Prostate done and consult a physician with reports for further management.
Kind Regards
