How Can Frequent Urination While Suffering From Sleep Apnea Be Treated?

I have sleep apnea and I use a CPAP and it works. But I still get up 3-4 times a night to urinate. My stream is strong but I have bladder evacuation issues. I am morbidly obese with a BMI of 51%. I am scheduled for Gastric Bypass sleeve surgery this month. I am wondering if I am showing early symptoms of prostate cancer?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The frequent urination you are describing may be due to diabetes or prostate diseases. Referring to your weight you have a great risk of being diabetic so do a fasting glucose levels, postprandial glucose levels, HBa1c. Also do a prostate ultrasound.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
