Some fungal infections are resistant to eradicate. Recurrence is an issue with most infections. However taking some measures will help reduce recurrence. Try to avoid tight fitting undergarments, keep the area dry, and use antibacterial and antifungal preparations casually available in soap form. If still the problem then systemic antifungals may be considered.
