How Can Fungal Skin Infection On The Hips And Stomach Be Treated?

Hi, from 3months I m suffering frm fungal infection having a round round reddish circles alot of itching n inflammation is dre ovr my hips, female organ, belly, breastline and underarms. I used to wear washed clothes daily n also take bath 3times aday. For dis I consult one of my dermatologist she suggest me to take one atarax tablet daily n apply candid gold cream but result was not so good now from one week I m Appling terbicad cream I got relief only for 2 days but nw I m in d same condition. ( 4yrs before I was suffering from lychen planus but nw I don t hv lychen planus). Plz Dr help me for dis type of allergy I m fed up of it.

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to fungal infection.

For that you can apply clotrimazole ointment locally.

You may require tablet terbinafine after consultation. Usually it takes 4-6 weeks to recover.

Along with that maintain proper hygiene. Avoid hot and humid environment. Avoid sweating. Try to bath daily two times.
