How Can Gastritis Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with gastritis in the er about a month ago. It has been kept st bay with some dietary changes. However it's almost here in the morning and I have been going on almost two hours of pain and it is getting worse. Not sure what to do. Head back to er? Wait and suffer? What? Help please
