How Can Genital Herpes Be Treated?

I already have Been Diagnosed with Gentile Herpes and have had the virus with minimul outbreaks for 2 years. My girlfriend also has the virus and has for 4 years. 2 months ago she started cheated on me and now i have an infection of my epididymis. whats the possibilty that It could be from something she picked up from the other man? She is showing no symtomsat all of anything other than last week had an outbreak of the Herpes. It has been 6 weeks since she was sexually active with him and 3 weeks since Myself and her have had Sex. Or do you think the infection could be from the Herpes Virus? Any input would be great..
