Hi,
If you are not on any medication so far and are managing your diabetes only through diet regulation, you may need insulin or oral anti-diabetic medication. Oral medications are less preferred to insulin in pregnancy since their safety and efficacy as compared to insulin is not yet established very well. Exercise is another important factor that can help maintain your blood glucose levels in the normal range. Moderate exercise is good enough. Finally, monitoring of the baby is very important. Hope this helps.
