How Can Gristle In The Penis Be Treated?

Hi My husband has what feels like gristle in his penis. It feels like a ligament would do, he says he can feel it when he used the toilet but it s more noticeable when he s erect. It is not painful and causes him no problems otherwise. What could this be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be a chordae or fibrosis. Consult a urologist and get evaluated. If it is symptomatic you can go for surgical removal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
