How Can Hands And Feet Swelling With Tenderness And Itching Be Treated?

My hubby has been having swelling and tenderness in his hands and feet. Now he is still having the swelling along with itching and when he lays down he gets a pain above his heart that when he sits up slowly goes away. These are the only symptoms he has so far.
