Hi,

Both Levocetirizine and Montelukast have hepatic side effects as an abnormal hepatic function (increased AST and ALT) but no renal side effects.

Intranasal high-potency glucocorticoids (e.g. Mometasone Furoate) are the most potent drugs available for the relief of hay fever/allergic rhinitis-seasonal or perennial and are effective in relieving nasal congestion.

Topical Ipratropium, an anticholinergic agent is also effective in reducing rhinorrhea, including that in patients with perennial symptoms, and it can be additionally efficacious when combined with intranasal glucocorticoids.

The anti-IgE monoclonal antibody (Omalizumab) can also be used for blocking antigen-specific IgE that causes hay fever/allergic rhinitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
