How Can Headache And Neck Pain Be Treated?

I have had a headache and neck ache for over 2 weeks now. I have a very high stress job and I am on high blood pressure meds but am concerned that they need to be increased. Is this a symptom of high blood pressure? I do live in Georgia but I am not typically one that is bothered much by pollen/allergies.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It may be due to high blood pressure or cervical strain. You should keep your blood pressure under 140/90 mm Hg. Also, undergo cervical spine X-ray anterior-posterior and lateral view.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi
