Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a sinus headache for the last 3 or 4 days and now I have one swollen gland and a slight sore throat on the same side. What can I take to feel better. I do not have any fever. Thank you. You should say that there is a cost in the beginning not after you list your problem etc. Thanks anyway..
You should consult an ENT Expert and get evaluated and also get a sinus CT scan don to rule out the exact cause for the symptoms and can be treated accordingly..
A course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Aleve along with decongestants like Pseudoephadrine and saline nasal irrigations and steam inhalations will help.. Use a cool mist humidifier in your room.. You should as of now take Ibuprofen and start doing steam inhalations..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
