How Can Headache Due To Stress Be Treated?

I have used fioricet with codine for 25 years. Lately I average about 30 pills in a year. The pills have become very expensive. Is there any new drugs that would do the same thing? My headaches are triggered by tension and stress but also from some foods. But they can become migraine if they last over a day.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a tension headache. I suggest using Ibuprofen to relieve the headache. I also suggest lowing the stress does on a daily basis.
