How Can Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Be Treated?

Hi, i didnt get my period for almost 5 months. I went to my doc she prescribed Glucophage twice a day bcuz i have pcos and duphaston for 10days. On the 8 day of duphaston i got my period and ive been bleeding for 8 days now. My periods are so heavy that i have to change my pad every 2hrs. Can you suggest me anything to stop my bleeding because i habe started feeling week amd dizzy. Thank youu.

Hi I think you can take some medicines like tranexamic acid 500mg 3 times per day for 3 to 5 dsys to stop the bleeding. If it doesn't work, you can take high dose of progesterone to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
