My wife is 52 years of age and has had hemorrhoids as of recent. However, her hemorrhoids are somewhat unusual. Its like a small piece of inner skin is pokink out about a 1/8th of an inch right above her "a-hole". cuases svere pain and it seems to make the entire hole swell. I have these suppositories and I got them mixed up with the ones that have a steroid, which in the past has helped to reduce the swelling. Can she use these in place of the steroid ones? They are "Canasa" brand and she DOES NOT have colitis.
