How Can Hepatitis C While Suffering From Paralysis Be Treated?

We a patient 50 yrs. hepatitis C positive recently became paralyzed unable to walk and he has fits so started by his doctor on antiepilepc drugs when he is at rest he is ok but when he start to move his hands or legs his limbs moves abnormal movements purposeless jerky like His speech also became scattered We donor know the diagnosis and whether he is going to improve He is on depakine keppra etc laryica And physiotherapy with little improvement

Hi,

Disease of the liver can have an effect on the brain if there is cirrhosis or severe damage to the liver, it is called hepatic encephalopathy.

It would be best for him to be evaluated by a neurologist for examination and imaging. An EEG to look at the brain waves may also be required.
