How Can Hernia Be Treated?

My hernia is in the groin when it bulges though the wall , I would guess is about the size of a small egg. The pain is about a 3 or 4. No pain in the morning. It comes on and appears when I start walking the dogs . It recedes after I sit down, it is the size of a vertical small egg.. I am 77 years old and drink , about 4 to six oz. Nightly. It seemed to start 4 or 5 months ago, I was doing extreme physical therapy to get my strength back after 8 rounds of chemotherapy

Yes, possibility of hernia is more likely.
Hernia is protrusion of abdominal content through abdominal wall muscles.
It is muscular defect.
And only cure is surgical repair of defect.
So first confirm hernia by ultrasound abdomen.
So consult doctor and get done ultrasound abdomen and surgery (hernioplasty) if it is hernia.
