General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There is no cure for herpes. But medicines can help. Suppressive Therapy. People with genital herpes who want to eliminate (suppress) outbreaks can take antiviral medication daily to hold HSV in check so that it’s less likely to flare up and cause symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Rakesh Rai
