How Can High Blood Pressure Be Treated?

I have family history of kidney disease, bladder cancer and breast cancer. I have high blood pressure and take Hyzaar 50-12.5. I also take alprazolam , bit D and on a as needed axis Chlordiazepoxide /clidinium bromide 5-2.5mg. Should I be taking Desmopressin acetate 0.1 mg? I am 67 years old and drink 2 glasses of wine per day.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I think one glass is OK but not too. Hypertension will get better without it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
