How Can High Cholesterol Levels Be Treated?

I am healthy, active, and currently weigh 130 lbs. I am 69 years old. I have been taking statins for my outrageously high colesterol for 20 years. No doctor that I have seen helps or will even suggest that my problem can be cured. I am also a vegetarian. Any suggestions?

I can understand your concern.
Statins do have a resistance on long term use.
So in my opinion, you should try fenofibrate.
It is newer lipid lowering agent.
It is more efficient, effective and having less side effects as compare to Statins.
So consult your doctor and get prescription for fenofibrate.
