Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.

I carefully read your question and understand your concern.
Probably your daughter is going through a viral infection which actually is a very common happening at her age.
What I would recommend is:
1. If fever less than 3 full 24 hour days and she is still active and happy you can just continue to give her fluids and paracetamol/ibuprofen. Most of the times fever goes away in 3 days.
2. Try to avoid fatty food, sweet food and milk during this time (yogurt is OK)- to not worsen the diarrhea
3. Make sure she is well hydrated: which would mean she is crying with tears, her mouth mucosa are shiny and with saliva, her skin does not shrug, she is not sleepy, no weight changes. She might need ORS, soups and natural fruit juice and other fluids regularly in frequent small amounts during the day.
4. Green stools might happen ans is nothing to worry about but if blood is present in the stools than see a doctor
5. Rest- do not sent her to day care and try to not keep her very "busy" while she is not feeling well. Her body needs to rest so she can recover quick
6.If she has fever for longer than 3 full 24 hour days or she is tired, does not take fluids or you think she has lost fluids than you will need to see a doctor to examine her.

Hope this is helpful and answers to your question

Best regards
