How Can High Fever Be Treated?

My neighbour is 74, she has a high fever and not feeling well. I went to the pharm and got her some Musinex as she said that s what someonesaid she should take. She said she was burning up earlier. So, I gave her the meds about 3 hours ago. Any advice?pauline

Dear Mucinex is not useful for fever it is useful for cough and expectoration. For fever you have to take paracetamol after that you need to consult your doctor. He will investigate the cause for fever and treat you accordingly.
