How Can High Fever In A Child Be Treated?

My 2.6 years son has fever and identified as having infection and given ceftriaxone 2 IV doses morning and night. He has very high fever ranges till 104. I have given 5 doses of p250 from morning 5am till 6am. Shall I give meftalp if fever continues to prevent over dosage of p250

Hi,

Continue to take Ceftriaxon injection as usual. Don't give him more than one dosage in one time. If you give too much Paracetamol you may lead him to liver toxicity. You can give him once Paracetamol once Ibuprofen every 3 hours and make sure to give the right dosage.
