How Can High Prolactin Level Be Treated?

Hello good evening respected doctors my male friend is suffering from high prolatin 92.73 ng/ml what shoud he do Dr.suggestion him to take bromocriptina 2.5 mg tablets twice a day first 10 days he have to eat half twice then 10days 1 tablet twice any suggestions and what shou he diet to control Thanks

Bromocriptine, as prescribed for your friend, is the appropriate drug for treating high prolactin levels. However diet plays no role in treatment of this disease as it is an hormonal problem which may be drug-induced or caused by a tumor.

I suggest your friend keeps with the prescription and goes for the scheduled followup visits to assess the improvement. There is really nothing more to it, except a tumor is detected as the cause, in which case surgery to remove the tumor is also recommended.
