How Can High Temperature And Nausea Be Treated?

My wife woke up shivering and feeling cool to the touch on her head. But the thermometer reads 101.6, I verified its accuracy by taking my temp and got my normal 97.8. We gave her 2 tylenol and she took a warm shower. Now she feels nautious. What steps should we take?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I would suggest giving her an acid reducing drug like Ranitidine along with an antacid like Gelusil. It might just be a case of indigestion.
I would also recommend seeing a doctor if the symptoms are not relieved even after 4-6 hours.
Hope she feels better soon, thank you
