Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
With the medications what has been prescribed should definitely take care of hypertension what you would be suffering from. Kindly get your blood pressure checked once a month on a regular basis. Weight gain issue what is bothering you could be due to under active thyroid gland. For that appropriate medication has been given and it should take care. However, it would take few months for you to be back to normal. Also, keep a check on your thyroid levels by getting your blood tested for thyroid profile. In the meantime, continue with diet as advised. Also, exercise regularly as recommended.
Gradually, you should get better.
Kindly do the necessary follow-up as advised by your doctor.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.
