I have had hypothyroidism for 40 years, all of a sudden my doctor told me it was over active. I have lost a lot of weight and suffering bad from depression. All of this since January of this year. Started out on 150 Mcg and he had dropped it to 112 mcg. I m still losing weight and have depression. I also had had severe stomach problems. I feel my thyroid needs to have an ultrasound. How can I get one without a doctor s orders as they don t seam to get the connection. I have been to doctor to doctor with out any help. Why would it go from under to over after so many years
