How Can Hypothyroidism Be Treated?

I have seen many doctors over the years but cannot get answers to why I feel terrible all of the time. I have been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism for about 15 years and still cannot regulate the medication. There are so many symptoms, along with some new ones that are worrying me now.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

For hypothyroidism serum TSH, T4(free) estimation done at regular intervals

Main aim in treating is to maintain TSH level between 2 to 3(below 5 and above 0.5 atleast)...

According to TSH level, dose of levothyroxine is adjusted ex. If low dose not sufficient than levothyroxine dose increased to get TSH level below five...

If pituitary or hypothalamus causes suspected according to report than MRI done to rule out organic cause of present

With control of hypothyroidism symptoms related to it will improve

Consult endocrinologist with keeping all this in mind for examination

Take care
